It is important that you measure the actual usable space inside the fireplace. Below are some diagrams to help you figure out how to measure your fireplace for gas logs. I highly recommend you email me some pictures of your fireplace so I can create a measuring diagram specifically for your fireplace. Fig. 3: Measuring Diagram for Zero Clearance/Prefab Fireplaces. Note: W1 and H1 are incorrect measurements for width and height. You need to measure the useable space inside the fireplace.
The size that fits your fireplace will vary based on the type of burner system and controls you choose. Most people don't know the difference between the various burners that are availble, so it is best if you just Email Me Pictures of Your Fireplace, let me create a measuring diagram and then help you choose the correct size based on the type of burner and logs you decide upon. Once I get the pictures and measurements, it's best to have a talk over the phone so I can help you figure this out.
