Customer Comments: Hi, I am interested in an Airculator with doors on top that can be shut during burning. The fireplace opening is 41.5 inches wide and 28 inches tall. The depth to the back of the fireplace is 22.5 inches. The width at the back of the fireplace is 30 inches. The current doors and frame are fine but I'm not sure if I can burn with the doors closed and not sure how I would mount the Airculator to it. The frame measures 43.5 long by 31 tall.
Our Comments: Looks like the Airculator HE14501 heat circulating system will work great with your fireplace. Here are examples of how it might look with glass doors in 3 different quality ranges that can be burned with the doors closed.

Aluminum is an excellent material for fireplace doors because it does not rust and can handle high temperatures when treated with powder coated finishes. It is also the most affordable.

Steel doors are more substantial than the less expensive aluminum doors. They are heavy duty and rugged and are more customizable because the frames are laser cut.
