Customer Comments: I am interested in your standard size #5 Hearthcraft Grande GD 52340 with a screen. My fireplace is 46 wide and 32 high. I'd like to see the solar bronze, mahogany, toffee, ancient age, textured black and rustic black finishes. Do you have any other doors in the same price range?
Our Comments: The Hearthcraft Grande is the least expensive door we sell in your size. We have the mockups you requested, however it is important to keep in mind that the mockups are to be used for style only. Finishes appear different on every computer monitor and look different in every home due to the lighting. Although we do our best when creating the mockups, please do not expect them to accurately represent the finish as it will appear in your home.

The Grande glass door from Hearth Craft has a 4 1/2" Wid x 3/4" Deep frame available in a variety of standard sizes as a lower cost alternative to custom made doors.

Option #: Stone Manufacturing SD Sliding Fireplace Door with #52 Half Oval Casting Trim in Polished Brass. This door has 2 fixed panes of glass on the right and left sides and 2 sliding panes in the center.

If you are planning on burning anything in your fireplace, you need to have mesh behind the glass so you can burn a fire with the doors open. You can chooe between gate mesh backup doors and sliding mesh curtains. Functionally, gate mesh performs the best as the wire has smaller holes that sparks cannot get through. Aesthetically, mesh curtains may be preferred because they do not have a vertical center frame that obstructs the view of the fire. When you are not using the fire or you want a complete unobstructed view, they do not stick out like gate mesh doors when they are opened.
We are showing these options on a flat steel bifold door with a satin brass overlay and gray glass.

Picture #1: With your camera sideways, take a picture directly in front of the fireplace from far enough away to see the entire fireplace floor to ceiling like this.

 Picture #2: With your back to the fireplace, take a picture looking straight out into the room so we can see the decor directly in front of the fireplace.

Please remove all objects from in front of the fireplace opening before you take your pictures (existing screen, plants or anything else). If you have an existing glass door, take pictures with the doors open and closed.
Once I recieve your pictures, I will create several mockups and post them to a project page and send you a link to view and them with others for their input. I will follow up with you to discus your project, quote prices and help you choose the treatment that suits you best.
