Customer Comments: We need doors to keep the cold out in the winter and the heat out in the summer. I think we're looking for brushed nickel or black.
Our Comments: Here are some options for doors that are appropriate for your fireplace in a variety of materials and price ranges.

Before:
Aluminum is an excellent material for fireplace doors because it does not rust and can handle high temperatures when treated with powder coated finishes. It is also the most affordable.
Option #1: Design Specialties Brookfield Fireplace Glass Door in Rustic Black with Gray Glass and Mesh Curtains.
Option #2: Design Specialties Stiletto Cutback Fireplace Glass Door in Satin Nickel (brushed aluminum) with Clear Glass and Mesh Curtains.
Steel doors are more substantial than the less expensive aluminum doors. They are heavy duty and rugged and are more customizable because the frames are laser cut.
Option #3: Design Specialties MET Fireplace Doors with Hidden Black Frame and Satin Nickel Doors with Gray Glass and Mesh Curtains.
These doors are hand crafted by skilled artisans from Solid Brass or Steel, depending on the finish that is desired. Very high end, and very refined. Items made from solid brass come in a wide variety of hand crafted patinas and other finishes. Satin Nickel finishes done on solid brass are the finest quality and will not rust like plated steel.
Option #4: Stone Manufacturing SD Sliding Door in Flat Black with Dark Graylite-14 Glass and Black Reflective Glass Burning Feature. The two outer panes of glass are fixed while the inner panes slide left and right to open and close.
Option #5: Stone Manufacturing HYBRID-2 Solid Brass Bifold Fireplace Glass Door in Satin Nickel with Dark Graylite-14 Glass and Mesh Curtains.
