Glass Doors for Casual Traditional Fireplace - Project #11482

Customer Comments: My husband and I are looking to put a glass cover on the front of our fireplace. The fireplace drafts really well when it is burning but when there is no fire on a windy day the downdraft gets the entire house smiling like smut. I would like something to help with that while still being able to open as mush as possible while burning. Thank You.

Affordable Sheet Steel Doors

These doors are fabricated from bent sheet metal, which is the least expensive option. This is one of the doors you provided us as an example of what you might like. The Picollo is not necessarily the best choice for a fireplace that is raised up slightly like yours as the frame is designed to sit flat on the hearth. When raised up slightly, it appears to be hanging in place. However, it is the least expensive alternative.
