Customer Comments: I'm trying to get glass doors for my fireplace. The first picture is what I would like for the doors to look like. The color in the pic is a brushed copper. The measurements for the width are 48 5/8" wide at the narrowest point and 49" wide at the widest point. The height is 31 3/8" at the lowest and 31 3/4" at highest. Thanks.
Our Comments: Below are examples of doors from two different brands similar to the example you provided from the online Stoll Visualizer tool. The main difference between the brands is the ability to burn a fire with the doors closed, so be sure to read the notes. We will discuss this in detail over the phone.
Fireplace Opening: 48 5/8-49" W x 31 3/8-31 3/4" H
These doors are made from laser cut steel and cannot be burned with the doors closed unless they are made with ceramic glass, which is very expensive.
Option #1A: Hearth Creations Flat Steel Door with Airseal Door Frames in Burnished Copper. Shown with Clear Glass and Gate Mesh Backup Doors.
Option #1B: Hearth Creations Flat Steel Door with Airseal Door Frames in Burnished Bronze. Shown with Clear Glass and Gate Mesh Backup Doors.
Option #1C: Hearth Creations Flat Steel Door with Airseal Door Frames in Rust Patina. Shown with Clear Glass and Gate Mesh Backup Doors.
These doors are made from laser cut steel and CAN be burned with the doors closed using their standard 1/4" thick tempered glass, so they will be a little less expensive.

Option #2B: Design Specialties Legend Fireplace Glass Door With Tight Fitting Doors in Burnished Copper. Shown with Clear Glass and Gate Mesh Backup Doors.

If you are planning on burning anything in your fireplace, you need to have mesh behind the glass so you can burn a fire with the doors open. You can chooe between gate mesh backup doors and sliding mesh curtains. Functionally, gate mesh performs the best as the wire has smaller holes that sparks cannot get through. Aesthetically, mesh curtains may be preferred because they do not have a vertical center frame that obstructs the view of the fire. When you are not using the fire or you want a complete unobstructed view, they do not stick out like gate mesh doors when they are opened.
We are showing these options on a flat steel bifold door with a satin brass overlay and gray glass.

Photo #2: With your back to the fireplace, take a picture looking straight out into the room so we can see the decor directly in front of the fireplace.
