Our Comments: We have created mockups that fit your description starting with the requested "Picollo" stock door. Arched doors are not possible on the Picollo stock doors, so we have included several custom options you may prefer, but at a premium price.
Fireplace Opening: 35" W x 28" H
Before:
Standard size doors are less expensive and ship faster than custom doors. They are assembled to order from precut pieces and then finished, so there are more finish options than doors doors that are already premade and in stock. Stock doors are on the shelf ready to ship within 2 business days and have no options.

Option #1B: Hearth Craft Piccolo Stock Bifold Fireplace Glass Door Model (5A Model PC-37250) in Cast Bronze with Clear Glass and Gate Mesh Backup Doors.
Aluminum is an excellent material for fireplace doors because it does not rust and can handle high temperatures when treated with powder coated finishes. It is also the most affordable.

Steel doors are more substantial than the less expensive aluminum doors. They are heavy duty and rugged and are more customizable because the frames are laser cut.

Option #4: Hearth Creations Flat Steel Cabinet Fireplace Door in Matte Black with Wrought Iron Scroll Pattern Doors. Shown with Clear Glass and Gate Mesh Backup Doors. This door cannot be made as a bifold.
If the frame is made wide enough, an arched door can cover a rectangular fireplace. Here are a couple great examples of doors designed specifically for that purpose.

Option #6B: Design Specialties Legend Arch Makeover Bifold Fireplace Glass Door with Knob Handles in Bronze Burst with Clear Glass and Gate Mesh Backup Doors. Bronze Burst cannot be easily replicated on a computer screen. It is a bronze glossy metallic finish with gold speckles. The brightness changes dramatically depending on the room lighting, time of day and angle at which it is viewed.
Option #6C: Design Specialties Buckingham Arch Makeover Bifold Fireplace Glass Door with 3 1/2" Top Frame, 1 1/2" Side Frame, Knob Handles, Keystone and Window Pane Doors in Bronze Burst. Shown with Clear Glass and Gate Mesh Backup Doors. See not about Bronze Burst in Option 6B.

Option #9: Design Specialties Legend Square Arched Bifold Doors in Rustic Black with Window Pane Doors. Shown with Clear Glass and Gate Mesh Backup Doors. The Legend door has an arched opening whereas the Carolina door has a rectangular opening with arches cut into it.
Option #10: Stone Manufacturing Pseudo Arched Bifold Fireplace Door with Wave Scroll Casting Trim. This is an ultra high end door hand crafted made from solid brass.
Option #11: Design Specialties Legend Rectangular Doors in Forged Iron with Arched Surround in Rustic Black. The arch is made to a smooth curve with a similar shape as the left opening. The semi-transparent frame shown around the left opening is just to show the shape that we enlarged to make the door in the mockup.
Option #12: Design Specialties Legend Arched Doors with Rectangular Surround. The arched doors are the same width and height as the left side opening. The surround is made to overlap the opening 1" on the top and sides.

If you are planning on burning anything in your fireplace, you need to have mesh behind the glass so you can burn a fire with the doors open. You can chooe between gate mesh backup doors and sliding mesh curtains. Functionally, gate mesh performs the best as the wire has smaller holes that sparks cannot get through. Aesthetically, mesh curtains may be preferred because they do not have a vertical center frame that obstructs the view of the fire. When you are not using the fire or you want a complete unobstructed view, they do not stick out like gate mesh doors when they are opened.
We are showing these options on a flat steel bifold door with a satin brass overlay and gray glass.

Picture #1: With your camera sideways, take a picture directly in front of the fireplace from far enough away to see the entire fireplace floor to ceiling like this.

 Picture #2: With your back to the fireplace, take a picture looking straight out into the room so we can see the decor directly in front of the fireplace.

Please remove all objects from in front of the fireplace opening before you take your pictures (existing screen, plants or anything else). If you have an existing glass door, take pictures with the doors open and closed.
Once I recieve your pictures, I will create several mockups and post them to a project page and send you a link to view and them with others for their input. I will follow up with you to discus your project, quote prices and help you choose the treatment that suits you best.
