Customer Comments: Please note we don't THINK we need burners that were on the first quote you got. We just need the custom-sized grates that the concrete balls would sit on with andirons in front, or if we go with the sculptures, it looks like we would need the crushed glass. All fireplaces in the house have existing gas lines. That said, I might be mis-understanding the purpose of those burners - are they made to plug into existing gas lines in order to create better controllability of the size of the flame? Because the clients are concerned about making sure their flame burns large enough. Or are they some sort of retrofit units to convert woodburning fireplaces to gas? Please confirm. The item I'm referring to - the description on the first quote 18" Fyre Sphere pan burner variable remote.
Our Comments: Based on your requests for both fireplaces, we are showing all of the options on the kitchen fireplace since the bedroom fireplace picture is not conducive for creating mockups. Hope this helps.
Fireplace Opening: 40" W x 34" H (Kitchen)
If you are planning on burning anything in your fireplace, you need to have mesh behind the glass so you can burn a fire with the doors open. You can chooe between gate mesh backup doors and sliding mesh curtains. Functionally, gate mesh performs the best as the wire has smaller holes that sparks cannot get through. Aesthetically, mesh curtains may be preferred because they do not have a vertical center frame that obstructs the view of the fire. When you are not using the fire or you want a complete unobstructed view, they do not stick out like gate mesh doors when they are opened.
We are showing these options on a flat steel bifold door with a satin brass overlay and gray glass.
