Customer Comments: The fireplace doors you show on your website seem like what I am looking for. I want doors that I can close with the fire burning, with adjustable louvers on the bottom and a mesh screen. I was shocked at prices of masonry glass doors from fireplacedoorsonline.com. I don't see prices on your site, but I would like a rough or detailed estimate. I have a stone front fireplace that is about 38 3/4" wide and 27 3/4" high as you can see in the attached photos.
Our Comments: After discussing your desires over the phone, here are mockups of the two options you are considering. This is the Carolina glass door with a 2 1/2" wide frame overlapping the opening and a 1 1/2" wide frame as an inside fit with mortar.
Fireplace Opening: 38 3/4" W x 27 3/4" H
Steel doors are more substantial than the less expensive aluminum doors. They are heavy duty and rugged and are more customizable because the frames are laser cut.
