Customer Comments: Hello, See attached for the photos of our current fireplace. It is wood burning with a gas starter. We are going to be replacing the surrounding tile, so would like the replacement fireplace doors to be a simple black (most likely). Leaning toward more modern vs. the current traditional look.
Our Comments: Glass doors can be made to fit inside the opening or overlap the entire black metal front. There is a fan control button on the bottom right side of the louvers. Some of the options will cover that button up rendering it unusable.

Before:
Aluminum is an excellent material for fireplace doors because it does not rust and can handle high temperatures when treated with powder coated finishes. It is also the most affordable.
Option #1: Design Specialties Stiletto ZC Fireplace Glass Door in Rustic Black. This door has a narrow frame that fits inside the opening.
Option #2A: Design Specialties Brookfield ZC Deluxe Fireplace Glass Door with Slotted Louvers in Rustic Black. This door installs with magnets and will cover the fan switch.
Option #2B: Design Specialties Brookfield ZC Deluxe Fireplace Glass Door with Open Louvers in Rustic Black. This door installs with magnets and will cover the fan switch.
Option #2C: Design Specialties Brookfield ZC Deluxe Fireplace Glass Door with Prarie Louvers in Rustic Black. This door installs with magnets and will cover the fan switch.
Option #2D: Design Specialties Brookfield ZC Deluxe Fireplace Glass Door with Cabinet Bifold Doors and Open Louvers in Rustic Black. This door installs with magnets and will cover the fan switch.
Steel doors are more substantial than the less expensive aluminum doors. They are heavy duty and rugged and are more customizable because the frames are laser cut.
Option #3: Design Specialties Legend ZC Deluxe Fireplace Glass Door with Tuscan Louvers in Forged Iron. Shown with a cutout made for the fan switch.
Option #4: Hearth Creations Modern Retrim ZC Fireplace Door in Satin Nickel with Frosted Glass Louver Covers. This door mounts with magnets and can be made with a cutout for the fan switch (not shown). It can also be made without the glass louver covers.
Louvers can be added to the top, bottom and sides. Modifications to the louver design may be necessary when adding louvers to the top and sides or all 4 sides. Louvers can be made in the same finish as the door frame or in other finishes.
