Customer Comments: ooking for thin frame in a brushed chrome or stainless steel. Also need a screen included.
Our Comments: We can have glass doors made in brushed aluminum, brushed nickel or satin stainless steel. There is no brushed chrome finish as chrome only comes highly polished. Due to the irregularity of the stones, narrow framed doors need to fit inside the opening and most will need the gaps between the frame and the stones to be filled with mortar for a finished look. Here are some examples.

Aluminum is an excellent material for fireplace doors because it does not rust and can handle high temperatures when treated with powder coated finishes. It is also the most affordable.
Option #1: Design Specialties Stiletto Narrow Framed Fireplace Glass Door in Satin Nickel (brushed aluminum) with Clear Glass and Mesh Curtains. Shown as an inside fit. Can be burned with doors closed.
Option #2: Hearth Creations Profile 2 Fireplace Glass Door in Satin Nickel (brushed aluminum) with Clear Glass and Mesh Curtains. Shown as an overlap fit. Cannot be burned with doors closed.
Steel doors are more substantial than the less expensive aluminum doors. They are heavy duty and rugged and are more customizable because the frames are laser cut.
Option #3: Hearth Creations Stainless Steel Fireplace Door in Brushed Stainless with Clear Glass and Mesh Curtains. Cannot be burned with doors closed.
Option #4: Hearth Creations Stainless Steel Bifold Fireplace Door in Brushed Stainless with Fully Framed Pyro-Ceramic Glass and Mesh Curtains. Can be burned with doors closed.
These doors are hand crafted by skilled artisans from Solid Brass or Steel, depending on the finish that is desired. Very high end, and very refined. Items made from solid brass come in a wide variety of hand crafted patinas and other finishes. Satin Nickel finishes done on solid brass are the finest quality and will not rust like plated steel.
Option #5: Stone Manufacturing EDGE-Minimal-1 Solid Brass Door in Satin Nickel with Clear Glass and Mesh Curtains. This door has an angle frame where the edge of the frame is just 3/16" thick and the glass covers the inside of the angle for a very minimal look. Must be burned open.
Option #6: Stone Manufacturing HYBRID-2 Bifold Fireplace Glass Door in Satin Nickel (plated steel or solid brass) with Clear Glass and Mesh Curtains. This door has no frame on the sides, just a 3/16" angle on edge at the top and bottom.
Option #7: Stone Manufacturing HLD-2 Solid Brass Fireplace Door in Satin Nickel with Clear Glass and Mesh Curtains. Shown as an overlap fit. Must be burned open.
