Our Comments: We are assuming you wish to add glass doors to this fireplace, so we have presented several options showing the different ways doors can be added.
Fireplace Opening: 36" W x 21 5/8" H
Before:
Aluminum is an excellent material for fireplace doors because it does not rust and can handle high temperatures when treated with powder coated finishes. It is also the most affordable.
Option #1: Design Specialties Brookfield Fireplace Glass Door in Copper Fire. This door overlaps the opening about 1/4" on each side.
Option #2: Design Specialties Stiletto Fireplace Glass Door in Rustic Black. This door fits inside the opening.
Option #3: Design Specialties Brookfield ZC Deluxe Fireplace Glass Door with Scroll Louvers in Rustic Black. This door is designed to cover all of the black metal and vents and is attached with magnets.
Steel doors are more substantial than the less expensive aluminum doors. They are heavy duty and rugged and are more customizable because the frames are laser cut.
Option #4: Design Specialties Legend ZC Deluxe Fireplace Glass Door with Tuscan Louvers in Rustic Copper. Attaches with pressure screws.
Option #5: Hearth Creations ZC Retrim Door with Slotted Louvers in Matte Black with Polished Brass Door Trim. This door attaches with magnets.
