Customer Comments: Dear Sir or Madame: Please refer to the attached photo. I would like a quote for a black arched fireplace screen with glass doors. As you can see the fireplace is constructed of irregularly shaped field stone. The intent is for the screen to fit flush to the fireplace surface so I would also appreciate your advice on how to mortar that in. The width is nominally 49" and the height is nominally 40 3/8". Thanks.
Our Comments: For this application, we recommend the Legend glass door from Design Specialties, mainly be cause it can be burned with the doors open or closed. The Legend has a good variety of options for handles, hinges and finishes to suit the needs of your Early American decor. In some of the mockups, we included some very functional fireplace accessories made by Pilgrim that we think would compliment the doors.
Fireplace Opening: 49" W x 40 3/8" H
The Legend doors are made from laser cut steel. They are heavy duty and rugged and can be designed according to your taste with various handles and hinges, as well as hammered textures (not shown).
