Fireplace Opening: 38" W x 27" H
Before:
Aluminum is an excellent material for fireplace doors because it does not rust and can handle high temperatures when treated with powder coated finishes. It is also the most affordable.
Option #1: Hearth Creations Basic 3 Outside Mount ZC Narrow Rectangular Framed Fireplace Door in Anodized Etched Black.
Option #2: Hearth Creations Basic 4 Outside Mount ZC Narrow Bull-Nose Framed Fireplace Door in Anodized Etched Black.
Option #3: Design Specialties Brookfield ZC Fireplace Glass Door in Rustic Black with Clear Glass and Gate Mesh Backup Doors. Requires masonry hardware to mount to firebricks inside.
Steel doors are more substantial than the less expensive aluminum doors. They are heavy duty and rugged and are more customizable because the frames are laser cut.
Option #4: Hearth Creations Flat Steel Bifold Outside Mount ZC Fireplace Door in Matte Black. Requires 1/4" spacers on the back of the frame.
