Customer Comments: I would like a glass enclosure with a door for this fireplace
Our Comments: Here is a variety of options for you. Each of these can have operable doors or fixed glass panes on the sides. Keep in mind that with gas logs, you must have the glass doors open at lest on the front side. That means the doors will stand out in the traffic way. The Sliding door option is the best since the doors do not stick out when opened.

Aluminum is an excellent material for fireplace doors because it does not rust and can handle high temperatures when treated with powder coated finishes. It is also the most affordable.
Option #1: Design Specialties Brookfield Multi-Sided Fireplace Glass Door in Rustic Black. This door will overlap the brick on the top and sides.
Option #2: Design Specialties Stiletto Cutback Multi-Sided Fireplace Glass Door in Rustic Black. This door will fit inside the opening and overlap the lintel 1/8".
Steel doors are more substantial than the less expensive aluminum doors. They are heavy duty and rugged and are more customizable because the frames are laser cut.
Option #3: Design Specialties Legend Multi-Sided Fireplace Glass Door in Rustic Black.
These doors are hand crafted by skilled artisans from Solid Brass or Steel, depending on the finish that is desired. Very high end, and very refined. Items made from solid brass come in a wide variety of hand crafted patinas and other finishes. Satin Nickel finishes done on solid brass are the finest quality and will not rust like plated steel.
Option #4: Stone Manufacturing SD Multi-Sided Sliding Door in Satin Nickel and Waterfall Handles (Shown with doors open).
Option #5: Stone Manufacturing SD Multi-Sided Sliding Door in Flat Black with Waterfall Handles (Shown with doors closed).
Option #6: Stone Manufacturing Minimal-1 Multi-Sided Glass Door with Black Subframe and Satin Nickel Hardware.

If you are planning on burning anything in your fireplace, you need to have mesh behind the glass so you can burn a fire with the doors open. You can chooe between gate mesh backup doors and sliding mesh curtains. Functionally, gate mesh performs the best as the wire has smaller holes that sparks cannot get through. Aesthetically, mesh curtains may be preferred because they do not have a vertical center frame that obstructs the view of the fire. When you are not using the fire or you want a complete unobstructed view, they do not stick out like gate mesh doors when they are opened.
We are showing these options on a flat steel bifold door with a satin brass overlay and gray glass.

Picture #1: With your camera sideways, take a picture directly in front of the fireplace from far enough away to see the entire fireplace floor to ceiling like this.

 Picture #2: With your back to the fireplace, take a picture looking straight out into the room so we can see the decor directly in front of the fireplace.

Please remove all objects from in front of the fireplace opening before you take your pictures (existing screen, plants or anything else). If you have an existing glass door, take pictures with the doors open and closed.
Once I recieve your pictures, I will create several mockups and post them to a project page and send you a link to view and them with others for their input. I will follow up with you to discus your project, quote prices and help you choose the treatment that suits you best.
