Customer Comments: Will install natural stone around fireplace, you need measurements from inside edge to edge or outside?

Our Comments: Here are some mockups showing several different ways to install a door. The doors can fit completely inside the metal opening, overlap the metal opening about 1/2" or cover the entire black metal fireplace. So where to measure will be determined by how you plan on applying the stone and which door type you choose. Once we narrow that down, we will create a measuring diagram.

Affordable Aluminum Doors

Aluminum is an excellent material for fireplace doors because it does not rust and can handle high temperatures when treated with powder coated finishes. It is also the most affordable.
