Our Comments: Here are some mockups that show the doors you requested along with a couple others we recommend. There is an issue with the fireplace floor extending out beyond the opening, which we believe may create an unfinished look. This would ideally be covered in the same marble as the mantel (see Option #5). We can also make the door overlap those bricks (see Option #2) or make a flange to match the door that covers the bricks (see Option #4).

Basic doors are made from a combination of steel and metal. They are a low end product designed to be the least expensive custom made doors, so they are not as sturdy as solid steel or brass, but they do have a great looking minimlist appearance.

Steel doors are more substantial than the less expensive aluminum doors. They are heavy duty and rugged and are more customizable because the frames are laser cut.
Option #3: Design Specialties Carolina Fireplace Glass Door in Rustic Black.
Option #4: Design Specialties Carolina Fireplace Glass Door in Rustic Black with Flange Made To Cover the Exposed Fireplace Floor.
These doors are hand crafted by skilled artisans from Solid Brass or Steel, depending on the finish that is desired. Very high end, and very refined. Items made from solid brass come in a wide variety of hand crafted patinas and other finishes. Satin Nickel finishes done on solid brass are the finest quality and will not rust like plated steel.
Option #5: Stone Manufacturing HYBRID-2 Inside Fitting Bifold Fireplace Glass Door in Satin Brass. This door has no frame on the sides. Shown with exposed firebox floor covered with marble.
Option #6: Stone Manufacturing EDGE-4 Inside Fitting Sliding Door with Edge Frame. The outer glass panes are fixed while the inner panes slide left and right to open and close.

If you are planning on burning anything in your fireplace, you need to have mesh behind the glass so you can burn a fire with the doors open. You can chooe between gate mesh backup doors and sliding mesh curtains. Functionally, gate mesh performs the best as the wire has smaller holes that sparks cannot get through. Aesthetically, mesh curtains may be preferred because they do not have a vertical center frame that obstructs the view of the fire. When you are not using the fire or you want a complete unobstructed view, they do not stick out like gate mesh doors when they are opened.
We are showing these options on a flat steel bifold door with a satin brass overlay and gray glass.
