Customer Comments: Hi, We are looking for doors made of ceramic glass that we can close while the fire is burning. Please let us know if you need measurements. Best
Our Comments: Ceramic glass is very expensive and has rough edges, so each glass pane must be individually framed. There are also special doors made with tempered glass that can be burned closed providing the fire is reasonable and kept 8" from the glass. Here are some examples of both types.

These doors are very heavy duty being made from 3/16" thick solid laser cut steel and framed pyro ceramic glass. With gate mesh backup doors behind the glass, they can be burned with the doors open or closed.
Steel doors are laser cut from 3/16" thick solid steel with 1/4" thick fully tempered safety glass. With gate mesh backup doors behind the glass, they can be burned with the doors open or closed.
Aluminum is the most affordable material. These doors have fully tempered safety glass and gate mesh backup doors and can be burned open or closed.
