Customer Comments: Hi! This is a seasonal 1930s cabin with a rustic fireplace with a smallish arched opening. I'm looking for a simple standing steel screen to sit under/in front of the brick arch. Your Project 11688 is close. The width is 39" and the top of the arch is at 20.5". One tricky thing is that the hearth is 2" below the apron, so the feet can't go behind the screen. See photo. Thanks!
Our Comments: The screens will come with rear stabilizers that are necessary for the screen to stand on its own when you move it away to tend the fire. They do not perform any function when the screen is in place since the screen will lean against the fireplace.
