Customer Comments: We would like a fireplace screen for this opening with doors. Black with mesh screen. The chairs will be turned around once the weather is colder. They are presently facing the pool.
Our Comments: Outdoor fireplaces require screens made from materials that can withstand the elements such as Stainless Steel, Solid Brass or Zinc Coated Wrought Iron. Here are examples of all 3 materials.
Inside Fit vs Overlap Fit: If we make the frame overlap the stones, there will be gaps between the back of the frame and the stones due to the uneven surface. Using a wider frame can help minimize seeing into the fireplace in those gaps. When doing an inside fit, you will want to fill the gaps with mortar.
