Customer Comments: Looking for a simple black two door fireplace insert so I can close them while there are still embers at night...thank you.
Our Comments: If we overlap the opening, we will add a return the same depth on on each side as the arched ledge to cover the gaps on each side. If we fit the door inside, you will need to fill the gap between the frame and bricks with mortar and paint it to match the fireplace.

Before:
Steel doors are more substantial than the less expensive aluminum doors. They are heavy duty and rugged and are more customizable because the frames are laser cut.
Option #1: Hearth Creations Flat Steel Overlap Fitting Arched Fireplace Glass Door in Matte Black with Clear Glass. This door would have returns the same depth as the top bricks added to each side.
Option #2: Hearth Creations Flat Steel Inside Fitting Arched Fireplace Glass Door in Matte Black with Clear Glass and Gate Mesh Backup Doors. This door would require the gap between the frame and bricks to be filled with mortar.
Option #3: Hearth Creations Single Panel Arched Fireplace Screen in Rustic Black.
