Customer Comments: Hi, per our conversation here is the information you requested. I am interested to add a double glass door to my existing Monassen fireplace. The opening is 36" wide and 21.5" height. Looking for stainless steel look with no tint glass in the style of: HHFL CV, HYBRID-2, HHFL CVBF WITH PUSH PULL VENT, CD-2. Thank you very much in advance.
Our Comments: Not sure what you are planning to cover the black metal and gap around the fireplace, so I have added an optional surround trim that can take care of this. The door frames will require 1/4" spacers on the back of the frame to allow air to flow into the fireplace and prevent overheating. Your gas logs must be burned with the glass doors open. The HYBRID-2 door will not work on your prefabricated fireplace.

Option #6: Stone Manufacturing SD Solid Brass Sliding Fireplace Door in Satin Nickel with Matching Surround and 1/2" Outer Surround Trim. The outer two panes are fixed while the inner panes slide left and right to open and close.
Option #7A: Hearth Creations Stainless Steel Bifold Fireplace Door in Satin Stainless Steel. The frame is laser cut from 3/16" thick solid stainless steel and is seamless.
Option #7B: Hearth Creations Stainless Steel Bifold Fireplace Door with Satin Stainless Steel Surround. The entire frame is laser cut from 3/16" thick solid stainless steel and is seamless.
