Customer Comments: We struggle with downdraft when starting a fire; We had the fireplaces and chimney inspected and have learned that the fireplace has no smoke shelf. Our mason thinks the tall multifamily homes built next to our house changed the draft dynamics of our chimney. For this reason we are hoping for glass doors with vents that we can keep closed while starting the fire until the chimney begins drawing well. We hope to stay in line with the design of the house and my family antiques in terms of style.
