Customer Comments: New construction. 1" gas line to 1/2" (ID). Have capacity for 400,000 BTU. Open space so desire highest heat output.

Our Comments: Based on your fireplace dimensions, the largest gas logs you can install would be a 30". Each of these log sets has stainless steel burners designed for outdoors. The Arizona Weathered Oak Jumbo Slim Logs and burner in Option #1 feature massive logs that are thicker, stack taller and have the highest flames. The burner is 18" deep x 12" tall with 1" bars, while the others are 12" deep x 8" tall with 1/2" bars.

Glass Door Mesh Options

If you are planning on burning anything in your fireplace, you need to have mesh behind the glass so you can burn a fire with the doors open. You can chooe between gate mesh backup doors and sliding mesh curtains. Functionally, gate mesh performs the best as the wire has smaller holes that sparks cannot get through. Aesthetically, mesh curtains may be preferred because they do not have a vertical center frame that obstructs the view of the fire. When you are not using the fire or you want a complete unobstructed view, they do not stick out like gate mesh doors when they are opened.

We are showing these options on a flat steel bifold door with a satin brass overlay and gray glass.

How Does The Process Work?

Once I recieve your pictures, I will create several mockups and post them to a project page and send you a link to view and them with others for their input. I will follow up with you to discus your project, quote prices and help you choose the treatment that suits you best.
