Customer Comments: I'm interested in a quote for the "single panel early American screen", S104. The decor opposite the fireplace is misleading-there will be two easy chairs with small footstool/poufs there. No coffee table, and not the eurent extra dining chairs or antique loveseat! Thanks,
Our Comments: The Early American screen can be made with standard wire mesh or perforated mesh. Standard mesh from this company requires horizontal support bars in sizes this large. Perforated mesh is much thicker and heavier and can be made without them, but tends to block some heat and is harder to see through. For these reasons, I have included some alternatives to consider.

If you are planning on burning anything in your fireplace, you need to have mesh behind the glass so you can burn a fire with the doors open. You can chooe between gate mesh backup doors and sliding mesh curtains. Functionally, gate mesh performs the best as the wire has smaller holes that sparks cannot get through. Aesthetically, mesh curtains may be preferred because they do not have a vertical center frame that obstructs the view of the fire. When you are not using the fire or you want a complete unobstructed view, they do not stick out like gate mesh doors when they are opened.

Picture #1: With your camera sideways, take a picture directly in front of the fireplace from far enough away to see the entire fireplace floor to ceiling like this.

 Picture #2: With your back to the fireplace, take a picture looking straight out into the room so we can see the decor directly in front of the fireplace.

Please remove all objects from in front of the fireplace opening before you take your pictures (existing screen, plants or anything else). If you have an existing glass door, take pictures with the doors open and closed.
Once I recieve your pictures, I will create several mockups and post them to a project page and send you a link to view and them with others for their input. I will follow up with you to discus your project, quote prices and help you choose the treatment that suits you best.
