Free Standing Glass Screens for Fireplace Raised in the Wall - Project #21286

Our Comments: Here are mockups showing the two screens you have requested. These can be made with 1/4" or 3/8" thick glass using normal clear glass, which has a slightly green hue, or ultra-clear low-iron glass, which has a very distinct look with vibrant blue edges, but super clear when looking through it.

Important Note: Free standing glass screens are purely decorative and must be set at least 8" in front of the fireplace when a gas log is burning. You cannot stand this type of screen in front of a reall wood burning fire as the glass might shatter.

Photo #2: With your back to the fireplace, take a picture looking straight out into the room so we can see the decor directly in front of the fireplace.
