Our Comments: Below are examples of how mesh curtains can be made with a top bar only, top and bottom bar and a fully framed curtain screen. I have done these in polished brass to compliment your classic Virginia Metalcrafters fireplace tools, although many other finishes are available. The bottom bar or frame screen are better choices since they help prevent logs and ashes from rolling out of the fireplace.
