Customer Comments: Looking for a screen that is attached. Width is 34 1/2" and height is 27". I am open to suggestions. The room is an office so it is not that formal. Something easy to operate.
Our Comments: Here are some fireplace screens from low to high end that can be attached to your fireplace. I have included some of my Half-Price Closeout Special andirons to help hide the gas log controls and finish off the look.
Gas Log Warning: To prevent the burner and pilot mechanism from overheating causing safety issues, vented gas logs must be burned with glass doors open. Vent Free gas logs cannot have glass doors closed under any circumstances.

If you have a draft that comes in and out of the fireplace, glass doors are a great alternative. The glass must be open when you burn the gas logs, but you can close them when you turn off the fire to keep the warm air in the house. They come with gate mesh backup doors behind the glass for protection when the fire is burning and the doors are open.
Option #1: Design Specialties Aluminum Brookfield Bifold Fireplace Door in Natural Iron with Clear Glass and Gate Mesh Backup Doors. Must be burned with the glass open. Shown with Half Price Closout Special* WI-AN3 Arrow Andirons.
This free standing fireplace screen with doors can be attached to the fireplace with clamps at the top. This is a very affordable way to have an attached screen.
Option #2: Hearth Creations Free Standing Fireplace Screen Door with Top Clamps in Charcoal. Shown with Half Price Closout Special* WI-AN3 Arrow Andirons.
Thes mesh doors are made from steel sheet metal formed into the frame that is 3/4" deep with seams and light duty hinges. Less expensive than solid steel, a good choice to keep the cost down.
Option #3: Hearth Creations Formed Steel Fireplace Mesh Door in Brushed Gray. Shown with Half Price Closout Special* WI-AN3 Arrow Andirons.
These doors are made from 3/16" thick solid steel, so they are more rugged and long lasting with heavy duty hinges.
Option #4: Design Specialties Craftsman Style Solid Steel Fireplace Mesh Door with Wrought Iron Details in Forged Iron.
Hand forged by a blacksmith from solid wrought iron with heavy duty wire mesh and hinges. Not only are these built to be used, they take on a more rugged natural look for those who appreciate craftsmanship and tasteful details.
