Custom Wrought Iron Grate for Large Outdoor Fireplace - Project #21345

Customer Comments: Fire place measurements Front 64" Back 54" Depth to front of Brick 24" Looking for a fireplace grate made with 1" square bar with the standard bent front, but want the back bars to extend straight up about 12 " high.

Our Comments: Below is a mockup illustrating how I interpret the grate you want. The grate is custom made by a blacksmith from 1" wrought iron bars. It can be zinc coated to resist rust, although the zinc coating will burn off where the fire is intense. I also included an additional mockup showing outdoor mesh curtains.

Fireplace Opening: 64" W (Front) x 54" W (Back) x 24" D x Unknown H
Recommended Grate Size: 48" W (Front) x 41" W (Back) x 18" D with 12" Rear Bars*

*I will need to know the height of the log lighter so we can adjust the leg height accordingly and leave at least 1/2" clearance. I also need to know if you want the overall height of the rear bars 12” from the fireplace floor or from the top of the legs.
