Customer Comments: Hello! I want to "spruce" up this old heatilator fireplace. I'd like to replace with new doors (instead of the curtains). I would like to use either glass (that I can burn a fire while the doors are close) OR doors with screens built it.
Our Comments: Here are some fireplace treatment ideas to help hide the old Heatilator fireplace and dress it up for a more classic moder look. I am particularly fond of the free standing screen method. If you choose the glass doors, they must remain open when the fire is burning, so I will recommend adding gate mesh backup doors behind the glass.

These screens are hand crafted from solid brass by artisans at Stone Manufacturing. These unique screens feature a double frame with double wire mesh in the outer portion that helps hide the fireplace. This type of treatment is more in line with your Modern Classic style.
