Our Comments: Here are some examples including lower end 3/16" solid steel and high-end heavy duty 1/4" wrought iron. I have also included some special accessories to complete the look.

Medium Weight Steel Doors

These doors are laser cut from 3/16" Solid Steel, which is the minimum material thickness recommended for doors this large.

High End Hand Forged Wrought Iron Doors

Hand forged by a blacksmith from 1/4" thick solid wrought iron with heavy duty gasketed doors for a tighter seal and maximum draft reduction. Not only are these built to be used, they take on a more rugged natural look for those who appreciate craftsmanship and tasteful details. These doors are most commonly ordered with ceramic glass for burning fires with the doors closed.

Template Instructions:

1. Tape a piece of heavy plastic sheeting to the fireplace.
2. Make sure the bottom edge is perfectly straight and even with the hearth.
3. Make sure it is taped tightly enough to remove any wrinkles.
4. Trace the shape of the stones and mortar around the opening with a fine tip marker.
5. If you make a mistake, make a note and point to the correct part of the line that is to be used.
6. Mark the template as shown with: Fireplace Treatments, Customer: (Your Name), PO# (To Be Provided), Outside Looking In.
7. Email me a picture of the template and leave it in place so I can see how it was made and approve it.
8. Once I approve it, you can take it down, cut off the tape and mail it to the address that I will provide.
