Example #6: Hearth Creations Flat Steel Inlay Corner Fireplace Door in Satin Gold.
Example #7: Design Specialties Legend Corner Fireplace Door with Extra Wide Corner Frame and Custom Fresh Air Vent Cover. The corner post on this fireplace was less than 1" from the opening, which is why the frame had to be made wider at the corner. Typically, the post needs to be at least 1 1/2" back in order to clear the subframe of a steel door.
Example #8: Savannah Corner Fireplace Glass Door in Rustic Black with Gray Glass. The left side is fixed and the right side is bifold with gate mesh backup doors. The Savannah is a great choice for fireplaces that are a little uneven or have large mortar joints. The frame is wide enough to overlap the fireplace to cover irregularities without being overpowering. It also requires less precision in measuring because we can build in more room for play.

Free Standing Corner Fireplace Screens
Free standing screens are a great choice for gas fireplaces where they do not need to be moved out of the way to tend a fire. These provide an excellent way of disguising a prefab fireplace by completely hiding it as you see in the first example. There are many materials and finishes that can be used to make these screens fit any style of decor.

This screen is adorned with a Solid Brass Shell and Bird Cast Ornaments and Shown With Matching T1-Revere Fireplace Tools. The outer portion of the screen has double mesh to help hide what's behind it.

Mesh Curtains for Corner Fireplaces
Hanging mesh curtains are probably the most common solution for a corner fireplace. These types of screens can either be made as a bar and mesh where there is a single bar across the top of the opening that has a curtain rod to hold the mesh, or they can have a frame that goes all around the opening for a more decorative appeal or finished look. We have many different finishes and materials available to make these types of L-Shaped fireplace screens.

The fender helps prevent the screen from being pushed out when a log rolls against it. A protective channel can be added to the fender that the mesh slides in at the bottom to help prevent the mesh from being pushed in by children or pets.
