Customer Comments: We are looking for a solid polished brass similar to your project numbers 11546, 11508, 11299, 11196, 11125, 10401, 10338. My preference is 11196 that I have attached. This is kind of the style I like. The couch is covered for the cats, but it is the pale green color I have exposed. Fireplace opening is 33 5/8" wide by 25 3/8" high (exact inside measurements). The hazy bottom of the hearth is just dust. The hearth is flat all the way across. Thank you.

Project #11196 Option #1: DF1G-FS8 Solid Brass Fireplace Door with Split Tube Frame in Hand Polished Brass. The door trim would be made using a 2",3",4" and 5" diameters depending on how much clearance is needed for the andirons.

If you are planning on burning anything in your fireplace, you need to have mesh behind the glass so you can burn a fire with the doors open. You can chooe between gate mesh backup doors and sliding mesh curtains. Functionally, gate mesh performs the best as the wire has smaller holes that sparks cannot get through. Aesthetically, mesh curtains may be preferred because they do not have a vertical center frame that obstructs the view of the fire. When you are not using the fire or you want a complete unobstructed view, they do not stick out like gate mesh doors when they are opened.
We are showing these options on a flat steel bifold door with a satin brass overlay and gray glass.

Picture #1: With your camera sideways, take a picture directly in front of the fireplace from far enough away to see the entire fireplace floor to ceiling like this.

 Picture #2: With your back to the fireplace, take a picture looking straight out into the room so we can see the decor directly in front of the fireplace.

Please remove all objects from in front of the fireplace opening before you take your pictures (existing screen, plants or anything else). If you have an existing glass door, take pictures with the doors open and closed.
Once I recieve your pictures, I will create several mockups and post them to a project page and send you a link to view and them with others for their input. I will follow up with you to discus your project, quote prices and help you choose the treatment that suits you best.
